The PerLe-Fonds for innovative teaching of the Christian-Albrechts-University Kiel agreed to funding the workshop "Springschool Cognitve Neuroscience".

In this 3-day workshop, students will gain a hands-on insight into current topics of cognitive neuroscience. Based on students' suggestions, experts will give introductory talks and practical courses. The students will have the opportunity to gain first-person experience with data collection, analysis and publication in a number of parallel sessions. Thereby, the focus will be on the possibilities and limits of "open science": How can we work with free and open source tools in cognitive neuroscience? This springschool is primarily directed at students of psychology, medicine, biology and computer science. Interested participants from other disciplines are welcome as well.
